Paradise Incarnate

There is so much to talk about. First lets talk about the picture. This was my first trip ever to a BevMo. This will probably be the place I go the most for everything I need when it comes to drinking on this blog.
I have seen a good deal of stores that sell the nectar of the Gods. I've seen the liquor store that smells like musk, has a porn stand with everything in viewable position, With it's fine liquor locked up behind the register where there seem to be a great deal of blunt objects at hand. I've even seen the Mecca of consumerism grocery store alcohol sections. There's more selection of the drink than of the cheeses. There's usually more wine choice than actual fruits. The package stores in the South were interesting too with their off the wall hours and uncanny amount of alcohol in plastic bottles.
This place I went was well stocked, clean and filled with nice people willing to help. It was still in recovery from the holiday which is expected. It looked like everything in there was just brought in. Nice, crisp and clean boxes still smelling of fresh cardboard. I ended up buying a nice bar glass that I can drink my first beer to the blog for. I'm still hashing out the beer tasting guide.
Todays excursion to BevMo has really got me thinking. Well back to planning. Nighty night!

Proclamation.

I guess I have set out on a journey to hone not only my writing chops but my palate but my alcohol, food, atmosphere and the things that happen when I'm on this journey. I leave you with this.

"There is an ancient Celtic axiom that says 'Good people drink good beer.' Which is true, then as now. Just look around you in any public barroom and you will quickly see: Bad people drink bad beer. Think about it."

Hunter S. Thompson
